Here it comes

So what do you do to deflect attention from the shithole which is Iraq? Start talking about bombing Iran. RRRRAAAAARRRR RRRRAAAAAAHHHH RRRRRR Bomb Iran (if you watch 'Little Bush' you know who I'm talking about) .

What is really messed up is not one of the major news organizations (cnn, msnbc, new york times, Washington Post) talks about this. Reuters at least mentions that the Bush Admin (take it for what you think is worth) says that Iran is smuggling more into Iraq. McClatchy News, formerly Knight-Ridder (not the Hasselhoff TV show) has always reported the skinny before anyone else did. Exposed Abu Grab Prison months before it's widely reported, exposed Walter Reed months before anyone else.

awesome GRAW2 accessory

myself and some of the BTBz play ghost recon advanced warfighter 2 (GRAW2) on the XBOX 360. now, the old nintendo systems had the gun for duck hunt, and the pad for the olympic games. if only microsoft could subsidize this accessory, so i could play GRAW2 and get my exercise at the same time. that would be bad ass.

Help the Strippers

Check out this site. Sucks you can't sign the petition online..

Maybe he has had it all along...

It was revealed that President Bush had Lyme Disease last Summer. I think he has had it a lot longer than that. He's had the disease since taking office back in 2001. Here are symptoms of prolonged exposure to the disease.

BRAIN
Nerve conduction defects (weakness/paralysis of limbs, loss of reflexes, tingling sensations of the extremities - peripheral neuropathy), severe headaches, stiff neck, meningitis, cranial nerve involvement (e.g. change in smell/taste; difficulty chewing, swallowing, or speaking; hoarseness or vocal cord problems; facial paralysis - Bell's palsy; dizziness/fainting; drooping shoulders; inability to turn head; light or sound sensitivity; change in hearing; deviation of eyeball [wandering or lazy eye], drooping eyelid), stroke, abnormal brain waves or seizures, sleep disorders, cognitive changes (memory problems, difficulty in word finding, confusion, decreased concentration, problems with numbers) and, behavioral changes (depression, personality changes).

Other psychiatric manifestations that have been reported in the scientific literature include: panic attacks; disorientation; hallucinations; extreme agitation; impulsive violence, manic, or obsessive behavior; paranoia; schiziphrenic-like states, dementia, and eating disorders. Several patients have committed suicide.

EYES
Vision changes, including blindness, retinal damage, optic atrophy, red eye, conjunctivitis, "spots" before eyes, inflammation of various parts of the eye, pain, double vision.

First Google then the world

Did anyone notice this. It also means that those who type it in and press the "I'm feeling lucky" button will go straight to the blog. I thought it was kinda cool to have first place. I tried using different variations to come up with these stats, such as Btown Boyz, btownboyz, B-Town Boyz, etc. Here are some others.

Google #1(every variation came up first)
Yahoo #2(used Btown Boyz)
Ask #2 and lycos #3(had to use btownboyz to work)
msn doesn't like us at all, but how do you expain this.(Btown Boyz and B-Town Boyz came up with the former link. Btownboyz came up with a link for viral video which had our blog listed for something with Guitar Hero 2. I'm guessing J Ho's post with me and him caused this)

And yes it was a slow day at work today.

captain morgan at bristol?

i was going through old bristol pix, ones i got from BTVJGJHo, form the 2007 spring race. i have an OCD thing where i have to rename pix, that way i can find a pic of dale jr easier than knowing it was DCIM0478 or some such shite. while doing so, i found this rather useless picture (i don't see anything exciting in it) except for this guy, doing an extreme captain morgan pose for the #5 car. what do you think?

maybe we can do a fancy captain morgan's pose at bristol ourselves? submit it, make some benjamins? everyone start thinking.

Bristol Track Walk

On Saturday of Bristol weekend, the Nascar Foundation is sponsoring a Bristol Track Walk. To register, a $30 donation is required. I was just wondering if any BTB that will be in attendance would be interested in participating. Let me know if there is any interest. We can even create a team (may I suggest the BTownBoyz) and possibly get the Shadyside gang involved. Click here for details.

another BTB souvenir for the future BTBcave

last fall, at the bristol night race, we were lucky enough to get an autographed budweiser poster from the budweiser girls. i think you got it if you bought a 6-pack of over-priced bud, but they were hot and we probably weren't very sober, and they'd autograph it. here is the picture.

yesterday, BTVJGJHo and i ended up at hooters, and we got our latest souvenir for the BTBcave (whenever it gets around to being bought). here's the new one we got from jenna at hooter's..

thanks jenna!

5 Polyps Down...

One head to go!!!

Also, thanks to Republicans, the people's work (namely, Iraq) hasn't been accomplished due to the Republicans stalling every chance they get. In the end, the Republicans will say the Democrats had no plan (even though it is them who actually prevented any of their measures from passing). Dirty politics have been stooped to the next lowest level. Thank the Republicans for bringing baby-like, bickering, politics to a new level of disgust.

BTBz Dating Service

I know most of the BTBz are slowly taking the plunge into marriage. And there's only a few single BTBz left (you know who you are.) HOWEVER, I have single-handily come up with the perfect solution to Z's eternal happiness. Oh, and never forget this. Um... yeah, but watch out for this.

Get out your duct tape, plastic, flashlight, and radio because Cheney is now in charge (like he never wasn't). He will suspend the Constitution (wait, he already has) and set himself up as Supreme Leader by 3:00.

Time to Get Out

Why are we there? The Iraqis don't want us there. Soldiers are being blown up on a daily basis. Our troops, under orders and severe stress, are committing heinous acts. Every day the death toll rises.

How do we get out? The Bush & Chaney Administration are not gonna allow that to happen (admit failure?). The Republicans in Congress, despite some realizing the truth, are still blocking any real chance to START the end.

The Iraqis live in fear, not in prosperity, like a lot had before the invasion. There were schools, colleges, hospitals, electricity, oil. Women were able to go to school (doesn't seem like some Muslim state, huh). What do the people of Iraq NOT have now? Schools, colleges (they are there, but the faculty and students are DISAPPEARING), hospitals (they are there, but the doctors are disappearing), electricity (they have no OIL to fuel the power plants), oil (they have no ELECTRICITY to run the oil plants). Yes, the surge has fixed all those problems.

Will there be change? After the election, maybe. Bush will pawn it off on a DEMOCRATIC President (or, I hope, Republican Ron Paul). Of course, Conservatives will use the eventual disintegration of Iraq as talking points and spin to better a political cause, not caring what really happens to our soldiers and other human beings. Hopefully, the truth comes out that shows this Administration dwarfing the Nixon Admin when it comes to deceitfulness and crony ism.

Will we as a people stand up and cast these heathens back to their Bible's Hell? No.
Just keep cramming unhealthy, hormone rich, antibiotic saturated, over sugared, super caffeinated, vitamin free, shit down our mouths as we watch mindless, exploitive, lowest common denominator television on our over sized couch and say to ourselves, "what can I do?".

Real vs. Synthetic

...so you thought Guitar Hero was cool.

Another one bites the dust

This may be a shock to some people; Christy and I have gotten married. Yes, married. We got married Wednesday and today are heading up to Put-In-Bay for a long weekend. The hassle of planning an event was just too much for us so we decided to just get the ceremony over with quickly. We will be planning a Valley party plus maybe a cbus thang. Details to come; must get on the road.

Bellaire Couple Injured in Pool Collapse

This just in to the BTBz Newsroom... Erin Tobin's (a.k.a. preggers) parents were swimming in their pool earlier Monday afternoon when it collapsed. Unofficial reports indicate that Lori's boob popped out and James lost his swim trunks. When reached for comment, James indicated 'she had to grab my pecker to save herself.' (btw, I'm not making that quote up.) Anyway, here's News9's video coverage and here's WTRF's story.

What happened to the George Bush who insisted on honest government?

By Joseph L. Galloway | McClatchy Newspapers

Why is it that the Bush administration, in its dying throes, looks remarkably more like an organized crime ring than one of the arms of the American government? A poorly organized and run crime ring, truly, but a crime ring nonetheless.

Why do I keep remembering the George Bush that I actually once voted for when he first ran for president — the one who talked of bringing in an administration that would look more like the face of America and of giving us a government whose appointees would be honest, upright, fair and moral.

Yes, that's the one. What happened to him? Where did that George Bush go? When did he go over to The Dark Side? What enticements did Vice President Darth Cheney offer him? Was it the vision of unlimited, unchecked power over the world?

How can it be that this man from Texas presides over a White House that shelters and provides cover for men like Karl Rove and I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, who clearly believe that the laws of our country are only meant to be imposed on lesser beings, the man in the street?

Remember the George Bush who declared that anyone who violated the law and participated in the leaking of the identity of CIA operative Valerie Plame would be fired on the spot?

What about Karl Rove who works beside President Bush and is his Mr. Fixit and Mr. Fix Them? Was it just my imagination or did I not hear sworn testimony and see documents indicating that he was up to his pudgy little neck in the whole deal?

Can we not suppose that Mr. Rove was, in fact, at the root of the 51 White House employees whose e-mails miraculously vanished from all those e-mail accounts that executive-branch employees maintained through a cut-out: the Republican National Committee? How many laws governing the preservation of White House records, passed by Congress after the sorry spectacle of Richard Nixon and the vanishing 18.5 minutes of taped chit-chat in the Oval Office, have Mr. Rove and his hench-people broken? What ARE they hiding?

What about the lies and lame excuses put forward to hide their actions in the case of the missing federal prosecutors by the chief law enforcement officer of our country, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, and his sophomoric young assistant attorneys general with their degrees from universities where only one book is on the reading list?

Does anyone doubt that Karl Rove personally drew up the list of those prosecutors who were to be executed because they did not enthusiastically go after people who were likely to vote for the Democrats in any election?

The good attorney general should be fired if he didn’t know where that list came from and he should also be fired if he did know and denied it under oath before Congress. It was his department, the one that is supposedly dedicated to upholding the laws of our nation fairly and with an even hand, and he damned well should have known and damned well should have told the simple truth.

Where is it written in either the federal statutes or the Constitution of the United States that our laws against criminal acts apply to everyone but nice, meek, small-statured Republican political operatives who have a wonderful wife and children? Our prisons are full of nice, meek white-collar criminals who cheated a bit on their taxes or back-dated their bountiful option awards or raped and looted the coffers of corporations and beggared the poor fools who trusted them and bought stock in their criminal enterprises.

The estimable Scooter Libby repeatedly lied under oath to investigators of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a sitting federal grand jury. Last time I looked that is a felony offense punishable by fine and imprisonment.

There are two former agents of the U.S. Border Patrol sitting in a federal prison for shooting a fleeing dope smuggler and then lying in their reports in an attempt to cover their butts with their bosses. Where is their commutation of sentences? Where is their pardon?

Instead of firing federal prosecutors who didn’t go after illegal immigrants and voter registration fraud like pit bulls, why isn’t our president demanding the dismissal of prosecutors and appointed regulators who turn a blind eye while the National Treasury is looted of billions by big corporations whose bosses write very large checks to Republican candidates?

What we have here, at the very heart of our own government, is a morass of criminal behavior unlike anything seen in recent American history.

It is past time to throw the rascals out of office, and I mean ALL the rascals of whatever party or political persuasion. If they didn’t participate then they closed their eyes to the rot, and by this I cheerfully include the Democrats in Congress who now control Congress and haven’t done anything but talk about doing something.

On his way out the door, whether sooner or later, George W. Bush had better sign one last pardon — to himself — for all the damage and destruction he has wrought on a nation that expected far better.

Times... They Are A'Changin'

Twenty-some-odd years will do that to ya!

The End Is Near

I know what you're thinking. T's full of shit. Well lets take a look at the signs:

1. JHo has gone POLITICAL.
2. Slyght's trying to be more FRIENDLY.
3. Chumpassfool is going GREEN.

That makes us half way to the end of the world. There are three more events that we have to prevent:

1. Redness answering his phone everytime someone calls.
2. Wasko becoming a safe driver.

And the end all be all:
3. C becoming sober.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to start building my underground shelter. Good luck to us all.

I've Been Feelin' GREEN Lately...

It's weird how people can complete change their beliefs and behaviors, even in something that seems unnecessary or mundane. And the change is absolute and definite. I'm being a little obscure, so I'll give you an example. When I turned 16 and got my driver's license, I wore my seatbelt. Not too remarkable except that I NEVER wore a seatbelt before in my life; in fact, I didn't know ANYBODY who regularly wore their seatbelt. But I did, and eventually so did my parents, and friends, and their friends, etc, and now, 14 years later, EVERYBODY I know wears a seatbelt. That's the kinda change I'm talking about. Now of course there's been state laws that are much more strict on seatbelt violators, but that wasn't the reason WE changed. It's really just an issue of safety and something we NEEDED to do. Thats an interesting phenomenon. I noticed it happening but never really paid much attention to it, until now, in retrospect. Interestingly enough, I see another change happening right now.

I don't want to get off on some crazy environmental rant (a la JHO's politico...), but I just want to know if anybody else sees this coming. As the title states, I've been feeling GREEN lately. I've been watching a lot of shows on television lately and read many articles on the internet about being GREEN, or eco-friendly. Basically GREEN is about saving energy and thus our planet. Dare I say Al Gore started the revolution with his documentary about the eminent danger of global warming An Inconvenient Truth, which by the way, you MUST see - fantastically done and incredibly informative to say the least. Then the Discovery Channel started airing shows that showed the importance of thinking GREEN and trying to reduce our dependence on rapidly decreasing supplies of foreign petroleum. Even This Old House renovated a 5-star (highest rating) GREEN house on it's last project in Texas. Even WalMart has started a GREEN initiative by promoting low-energy fluorescent light bulbs which use significantly less power than traditional incandescent bulbs. Just imagine the energy that could be saved if every WalMart customer would replace just one bulb with an energy-efficient fluorescent. I've already replace a few bulbs in my apartment.

I could go on and on, but its not necessary. I feel a revolution coming and a change in thinking. If we want to sustain this planet (at least until the sun burns out), we need to start now. Its not necessary to change everything we do, but every little thing can help out.

I found the video below and thought this guy demonstrates a very good point. And he does it in such a way that everyone can understand it. (He even includes a logic chart so us linearly-thinking nerds can understand.) I know the video is a little long, almost 10 minutes, but give it a chance.

Interesting Argument About Global Warming - Watch more free videos

Let me know what you think. Am I crazy or a hypocrite jumping on the eco-green-bandwagon? Maybe I'm just full of shit, but I can sense a change coming.

Start saving or start making excuses

All signs point to that we're going to have T's bachelor party in Myrtle Beach sometime in September. Here's the early info:

We are looking at a 4 bedroom condo ON THE FREAKING BEACH! This place is only available over Labor Day weekend. The cost? Yeah, $563.10 TOTAL. It might be a bit overkill. It has one king, one queen, four twins, and a sleeper sofa. If we don't have that many coming, there's a three bedroom that is available that week and for the rest of the month and is about a c-note less for the weekend. Just remember we'll have to take an extra day of vacation if we don't go over Labor Day.

I've been to this place before. It is P-I-M-P. It's got a full kitchen including fridge for lots of beer. Did I mention it is oceanfront? Also it has a lazy river. I can't think of a group more lazy than us. Also, we're thinking that we'd stay in Myrtle on Friday and Saturday nights right now... so that's where the $563 price tag comes from.

Talk to me or T for the location. We don't need all the B-Town fanz mobbing the place for autographs. We need to move on this pretty fast, so get in touch with questions and expect a (drunken) phone call soon.

His Game Was On Fire

I hope it was a good shot.

Because I DON'T Have a Working 360...

1. Forza 2 has been sitting on my mantle unplayed since I picked it up on release day after I had preordered it. At this point, Chad has completed the same number of laps as I have.

2. T has passed me up on Guitar Hero II. At last check he only has one song left to 5 star on medium. I have 3.

3. Brandt Stewart played Aegis Wing with Juddy and T. I take full responsibility for this reprehensive occurance.

4. I sit in my chair, holding my controller, yelling at the TV "Here come the Mexicans, 11 o'clock, behind the big rock. I'm throwing smoke now. T, get ready to put down some C4 on that vehicle." or "Juddy, come get me. I'm down." or "T? T? T, you there? Juddy, is T dead? Juddy? Shit, are you dead too? Fukk..." In reality, the controller is off and the Lifetime movie of the week is on the TV.

5. Self-gratification has lost all its fun.

good!

i can't believe they let paris hilton out for an "undisclosed" medical condition in the first place. i think that sheriff was paid mighty well to go along with that story. what medical condition could she have that never stopped her from being her useless self at every celebrity bash available? my best guess is delirium tremens (the DTs), general drug withdrawal, or a rampant herpes outbreak. she's a waste. if i ever come up with a title for my other blog about useless or dangerous people, she's #1 on the list.

now she's praying and saying "i love you" to her parents. she says it's not fair the same way a little kid who isn't allowed a cookie after breaking the jar says it's not fair. i DO love that picture though.

and since we are on a boob streak, she's good for flashing those too.

great film

God tells him what to do??? Well who...

tells the POPE what to do? George W. Bush has been slammed by the old Pope (John Paul II) about the debacle in Iraq and his administration's foreign policy, and, soon, he'll be slammed by the new Pope when he visits the Vatican this week.

Good Job Bush!!! He has even pissed off the Pope. But he says that God speaks to him during his prayer sessions and tells him what to do in every decision. So, which one is talking to the real God, and which one is a heretic using the notion of God to promote his own agenda??? Ask any religious freak in the U.S. and they will say Bush is doing God's work. So if Bush is hearing the TRUE God, than the Pope is a heretic, and, in doing so isn't these freaks heretics themselves since they don't believe the Pope??? So you can say all these religious freaks are going to HELL and WORK FOR THE DEVIL because of the disdain for the Pope??

Both Sides Suck...

So much for 'Democrats will change things'... Here is an Editorial from 'The Nation' magazine detailing the ineptitude of the new Demo-crap-ic leadership not following through on the promises to stop this nation's slide. It's still early, I guess, but things look like the old 'same old same old' again... both sides bickering while nothing gets accomplished and corporate america reaps the profits.

editorial | posted May 31, 2007 (June 18, 2007 issue)
The Honeymoon Is Over

As Congress left town for its Memorial Day recess, the euphoria cast by the 2006 election victories was gone. Disappointed by the Democrats' inability to force a withdrawal timeline into the war-funding bill, angered by a trade deal hatched in secret, dismayed at backsliding on cleaning up Capitol Hill, progressives were faced with the unpleasant reality of the new Congress, warts and all.

The slim Democratic majority in both Houses is not a progressive majority. Just as distressing as the cave-in on war funding was the continued power of the bipartisan money party. Beyond ending the war, Democrats were elected because of popular rejection of corporate trade policies and the stench of corruption in Washington. Tom DeLay is gone, but the corporate lobbies just reloaded with Democrats. When the House leadership announced a trade accord that the Chamber of Commerce celebrated as a model for giving Bush renewed fast-track authority, hopes for a new economic course were punctured. Then, House Democrats wouldn't support even a two-year hiatus that would slow the revolving door between Congress and the lobby world. ("That's our retirement plan," complained anonymous legislators.)

Progressives mobilized to help House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pass the 100-hour agenda in the opening weeks of this Congress. The first increase in the minimum wage in a decade has finally been signed into law, but Senate barons have delayed or interred the remainder of her agenda. The drug lobby mobilized sufficient opposition from senators in both parties to deep-six efforts to empower Medicare to negotiate lower prescription-drug prices. Rollback of oil-company subsidies is stalled in disagreements between the two houses. And House Democrats have seemingly lost their nerve on rolling back Bush's social agenda: Two bills to eliminate abstinence-only funding are now on hold, with fewer sponsors this year than last (for an eye-opening investigative report on the corruption of abstinence funding, see Michael Reynolds's article in this issue). Even halving interest rates on student loans--a no-brainer given both the need and the scandals among lending companies--has been hung up because the Senate grandees wouldn't pass the House version.

These disappointments lead some to consider giving up on this Congress. That would be a mistake. The new majorities aren't the sterling champions some had hoped for, but they aren't the knaves we booted out, either. The backsliding and reversals remind us that the 2006 election victories are only the first step down a long road. We need progressive, not just Democratic, majorities to enact real change and reform: ending the war, driving toward clean energy, fixing healthcare, pushing for a living wage, creating an entirely new trade strategy that puts people above corporations. Republican legislators have backed Bush on the war and have frustrated even minor reforms. They boast about scoring partisan points while ignoring the public interest. They must be held accountable for that. Conservative Democrats who still don't understand the scope of the debacle in Iraq or of the growing revolt against Wall Street's tax-and-trade policies have to be challenged in their own districts.

Democratic majorities have provided us with relatively progressive leaders in both houses of Congress and several aggressive committee chairs who are beginning to unearth the hidden horrors of this rogue Administration. But we still don't have the progressive strength in Congress or the leadership in the White House that can change this country's course. The serial disappointments of recent weeks are but a reminder that we've got work to do.

Embassy no more

If you didn't check out the plans for the U.S. Embassy in Iraq, you won't be able to anymore. In what was a big breach in security (meaning: don't publicize what we are doing...people might find out), the firm hired to design the complex put the plans up on their website. Well, the link has been removed. Too bad, if you could have seen the life of luxury those people at the embassy would have had.

Wonder why they hate us???

maybe it is the 1/2 Billion (that is a 'B') dollar U.S. embassy in the middle of the Green Zone in Baghdad that is being constructed. This embassy will be the LARGEST EMBASSY IN THE WORLD. Not only is this palace-bigger-than-a-Saddam-Palace is being built while the 'protected' Green Zone is being attacked on a daily basis, it IS ON SCHEDULE!!!! Four years and a large portion of Iraq still has no constant electricity or sewage or running water (when they had it during the Saddam era), and miles long wait at the gas pump, but a monstrous symbol of the true controllers of Iraq (not the Iraqi Nation Congress) is almost complete on time. The building will open in September (and will be mortar attacked immediately after). Oh, by the way, operating cost of this building will cost about 1.2 Billion (a 'B') dollars a year to maintain.

This building is the ideological brainchild of George W., who wants to create an image of American power of the middle east for generations to come. Who knows, this may become one of the 'wonders of the world' for a future generation. A symbol of American Might, under the control of Lord Bush, who, like the Tigris and Euphrates, planted the seed of the New Middle Eastern Century where Democracy sprouted and grew, soon overpowering its neighbors by its sheer will to give every middle easterner freedom from tyranny. BULLSHIT. They want democracy in every country in the middle east so U.S. corporations can move in and put a Starbucks in Tehran. Also, swindling them of oil would be cheaper and easier.

Those who think that America will get out of Iraq are sadly mistaken. Those who think that the Demo-craps will get us out of America are sadly mistaken. They are too big a pussy to stop this catastrophe. They buckled and voted for the Iraq Spending Bill last week just because they didn't want to go on the Memorial vacation without passing the bill because the President and Republican elite and Conservative media (and yes, that is the real media - there is no Left-Wing Elitist media of any substantial power) would blast the Demo-craps day and night about how they 'HURT THE TROOPS' by not passing the bill which, according to experts, the money won't be needed until August.

Who can blame Bush for being so arrogant: He always gets his way. Ever watch a Bush press conference? After 60 minutes of bumbling through it with half sentences and stutters and the same-old-quotes, he walks off with a smirk on his face. You know he walks away thinking, "I nailed it!!" The Demo-craps are the 'Enabler' of the 'Decider'.

Hey, the Repli-can't-do-shit-right are good at what they do. They break out the PATRIOT machine every time their power might lessen. All the fat, drug-addicted, hypocritical, racist, sexist, religiously deluded talking heads who only say whatever is on the weekly Republican 'talking points' are able to scream their head off on radio and TV, with the 'spin' that a supposed 'no-spin-zone' can do.

But all this is distraction. Distraction from the root cause of this conflict in Iraq. It wasn't 9-11, it wasn't Islamic Fundamentalism, it wasn't weapons of mass destruction, it wasn't the 'rape rooms', it wasn't 'he tried to kill my daddy', it wasn't 'we fight them there so we don't fight them here', it wasn't 'they hate our freedom', it wasn't 'Saddam murdered his people', it wasn't ...(even I forget all the bullshit excuses they came up with) IT WAS FOR THE OIL anyone who believes otherwise has either had their head up his or her respective ass for the past 5 years or you fell for the FEAR and PARANOIA that the Conservatives have been using to control people for centuries (one example of both: organized religion).

And why are there not a lot of reports on the OIL in IRAQ? Only an occasional mention in the business pages. The truth that Billions (with a 'B') in dollars in oil have been unaccounted for since the U.S. occupation began. The almost-immediate installment of Halliburton in Iraq right after Iraq fell. The securing of the Iraq Oil Ministry while the Iraq Treasury and Iraq's Ancient History Museum were allowed to be looted.

Oh, and by the way, remember when they said the OIL would pay for the cost of the war? well, it isn't. Estimates put the TOTAL COST OF THE WAR around 1.5 to 2.0 Trillion (with a 'T'), depending on the length. IF securing the oil was gonna keep it cheep for us Americans, then why has the cost of gas increased in the U.S. $1.50 a gallon since the war began? Isn't it funny that the U.S. now has direct access to oil in the Middle East without having to deal with OPEC and their charges, yet gas prices has increased so much in the past 4 years.

My belief: the U.S. oil corporations, with the full backing of the current U.S. Government, are intentionally not upgrading the oil facilities in Iraq. They are playing a game of poker right now. Not to show the cards that they have (meaning the third largest supply of oil in the world, and, with some more exploration, the LARGEST SUPPLIER IN THE WORLD - Iraq). Using every excuse in the book like it is winter, it is summer, it is a holiday, a tanker truck got a flat tire, a fire at a refinery, el nino, leap year, etc, they can raise the gas prices and make the profits without pumping the oil out. Sure, some oil is getting out of Iraq; but, the possibility of the output through only American companies would provide the U.S. consumer a cheaper fill-up. Once insurgents started attacking the pipelines in Iraq, those Corporations gave up on increased production. Focus now on the future.

The instability of the region now has raised oil prices and in turn, Big Oil has raised gas prices. But they are still holding the cards. As we continue to occupy the region, other countries in the Middle East will exhaust their supply, and Big Oil will continue to raise gas prices as Oil prices per barrel rises. Then when the world starts to run out of oil to pump, Iraq and Big Oil will actually start pumping out its reserves in Iraq. We will have control of which country will get the oil. Thus we are the 'decider' of which country gets to be civilized. Big Oil will make money then when they are the lone major supplier of the crude. It is projected that American Corporations could produce a barrel of oil in Iraq for as little as 1 dollar (THAT IS A 'D') a BARREL. Of course, prices would still have to rise at American's pumps since we have to 'share' the oil (by 'share' I mean sell to the highest bidder) and the supply is limited. Hence, like always, Big Oil comes out on top. BIG PROFITS NOW + BIG PROFITS IN FUTURE = REALLY BIG F'N PROFITS

Oil - read this if you want to see Big Oil money controlling this Administration in Action. If you don't read this, then you are not being patriotic and you are letting them win and take over the country (i am not referring to al Queda)

It is working.

To those who believe that the U.S. troop surge in Iraq is working, here is 'your' evidence that it actually does work. This is just atrocious!!! The main killer of Iraqis and Americans is not included in the Administration's figures!! Just so they can say that without being entirely being deceitful.

This site used to be 'Knight-Ridder' news, until it was bought by McClatchy News. If you want to read some REAL news instead of the slanted reports we get on ANY other news source, then check out this news site. These were the people screaming before the war that the Bush Admin's justification was a bunch of BULLSHIT!!!! But nobody heard them because Bushie Papers like the Washington Post and New York Times bought the BS and printed it. This site lists daily Iraq violence (at least the ones that WERE reported). You will see a lot more violence listed than any other so-called news site.

Because I have a working 360...

I can play Guitar Hero II tonight when I get home. Thank you GameStop in Fuquay for taking my annoying phone calls this week as I tried to time your weekly restocking shipment. They received 4 and still had to fill 3 preorders from last week. Yours truly got the only one available for sale. Time to rock out with my c0ck out.

I can golf as Rick Wasko playing Tiger Woods '07. Now to give him Z's old (well way too young) Turkmani girlfriend's body.

I don't want to kill myself or those around me. T, hang in there.

Albert Einstein once said....

if the bees dissappear, the human race can last only 4 years. Well, the bees are dissappearing. I am sure scientists have already came up with other methods to replace bees? Yes, they have.... but it doesn't work.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour '08 First Look

WOW! The franchise that changed video game golf is doing it again this summer. You can read the full article here, check out the pics, but I'm going to post a few bullet points:

  • The new Photo Face feature is the next logical evolution of the character creator, known in Tiger as Game Face. The idea isn't new: take a picture of yourself and upload it on a character model. While we've seen this before with mixed results in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, Tiger 08 takes it to an entirely new level. First you import a front and side photo from the Xbox Live Vision Camera, the Sony Eye Toy or a picture on your PC. Next you simply match up a number of markers with key points on your face, like eyes, nose, lips, ears and chin (a template shows you exactly where to put the points). Finally, hit go and Tiger 08 starts building a brand new character head (rather than wrapping a photo texture around a blank face as in Rainbow Six).
  • User-created gameplay took shape in a new challenge system. Let's say you're 300 yards out and stick the ball inches from the pin on the highest difficulty setting. EA has set point values for all of these variables. The longer the shot, the more points you get. The closer to the hole, the more points you get. The higher the difficulty setting, the more points you get. Once you upload the clip and the point value is set, other gamers can download it and try to beat your shot, earning these challenge points along the way.
  • We also know that there will be only 15 courses on the PS3 and 360 -- too few, we say. But look for Boston, Westchester, Cog Hill and the rest of the FedEx Cup courses to be included.

Michael Waltrip...

is in TROUBLE!!!

here goes nothin'

Double Standard?

ok, what don imus said was stupid. still, i've heard worse, i'm sure even worse than what i've heard has been said. still, i don't think blacks are nearly as oppressed as they used to be. there is going to be bigotry against different people, against jews, and mexicans, and arabs for a long time to come. it's a part of being human. we are afraid of things that are different. we, as a culture are improving bit by bit, generation by generation. in my opinion, this was a spur-of-the-moment bad joke in bad taste.

and the beauty of it, it gives the reverends al sharpton and jesse jackson a reason to jump back into the spotlight. who the hell is al sharpton to demand imus's resignation? he's a reverand, a pastor, someone who should be versed in forgiveness and showing someone the error of their ways, not retaliation and retribution, that's up to his "god" to take care of, but he couldn't make money that way. imus was man enough to go on sharpton's radio show to apologize to his audience (i'm guessing primarily black), and sharpton still asked for his resignation. wtf?! sharpton and jackson aren't civil rights leaders/activists, they are the racial equivalent of ambulance chasers.

there's long been the arguments... what if someone made WET, "white entertainment television" in response to BET, black entertainment television. what if there was an NAAWP in response to the NAACP? i'm sure there are white people that are discriminated against in one way or another that would benefit (bums, white kids in black neighborhoods, etc.). these people do exist.

so... what would happen if someone came out to defend "the white man" against the dangerous ideas (i don't think this guy was joking, being it was C-SPAN) of mr. kamau kambon in this clip? calling for him to be... i don't know, arrested, monitored, followed because of his threatening remark against all white people on the planet. i just don't get it. granted, the situation isn't exactly equal but there is a definite double-standard here.

maybe i'll be the white al sharpton (but with better hair and no need for religious affiliation).

Sad...

Kermit. I actually know the guy who directed/edited/created this video. I don't know who the voice of Kermit is.

"mingos" for a bathrobe?

while at bristol, we went to a place called "the sportsman's club". T talked about it here since he was at home and we didn't have internet at the track. at the bar, we drank, played pool, got our asses generally handed to us by RogerDodger, and met phyllis. phyllis seems to be a local barfly, generally friendly and quite outgoing after she's had a beer or 20. i used to wear bathrobes quite religiously, starting in high school and continuing over to my years in college. fully dressed, then put the robe on. i miss it, actually, so i brought a few to the race.

phyllis wanted to trade my robe for her "mingos". her "mingos" are her flamingo pajama pants she had on under her blue nylon pants. she wanted my robe BAD!! you can see here that she attempted to give me a lap dance to convince me to trade. she'd pulled her nylon pants down in the bar to show everyone. the bartender had to come over at one point and told her not to take her clothes off anymore or she was getting thrown out. it was funny. so, here, for your viewing pleasure... me being "seduced" because of my sexy robe.

B-Town Boyz Make National T.V.

Early Sunday morning, Bristol, Tennessee. BTB'z Chump, JHo, and Slyght (a.k.a. Z) arise from bed to greet the day they've been practicing all week for... race day. All the boozing and drunken nights since Tuesday when they arrived have led up to this. One last day to celebrate NASCAR. One last horrah to send vacation out with a bang. One last opportunity to get shitty drunk before returning to the real world. What better way to face the morning sun than a few brews and a walk to the Jack Daniels tent to start things off real good. I had a couple Jack 'n' Cokes, Z had at least one straight and JHo finished off with a Bloody Mary. The buzz was kickin' in and it was time to get on the move. Z still had some souvenir shopping to do. While walking around the track we encountered the Speed crew's live broadcast of Nascar RaceDay built by the Home Depot. With the crowd already a hundred deep, we stopped to witness the spectacle and catch up on some beer while we were at it. Looming in the very back of the crowd, far away from the camera's eye, JHo was handed something. It wasn't any illegal drugs or religious literature as you might expect, but a huge American flag. "What have we got here?" I thought to myself. To which I answered to myself, "...our best chance to get on T.V." We grabbed the flag and then our cell phones to call friends and family back home to watch for us. After a half-hour or so we had had enough. There was still shopping and drinking to do and we had to be moving on. The question of whether or not we made it on live t.v. weighed heavily on everyones mind. There may be no way to tell. Maybe we just missed out on our only chance to show this world what the B-Town Boyz are really made of! But alas, there's no more worrying. WE DID IT! WE REALLY DID IT!

What about Bob???

Bob Jenkins (born September 4, 1947 in Liberty, Indiana) is a television and radio sports announcer best known for his work at ABC and ESPN calling NASCAR and IndyCar telecasts. He currently teaches announcing at Anderson University (Indiana). [citation needed]

Announcing career

Jenkins was one of the original cornerstone anchors on ESPN when it debuted in 1979, working there as one of the most senior members of the network until 2003. From 1979-1998, Jenkins worked on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network, holding various positions including the backstrech, turn four, and chief announcer from 1990-1998. Jenkins was the television announcer of the Brickyard 400 (now Allstate 400 at the Brickyard) from 1994-2000, and the television announcer of the Indianapolis 500 from 1999-2001.

After being released from ABC/ESPN in 2003, Jenkins joined the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in various roles (track announcer and host of many public relations events, including the Victory Banquet held after the race), had a short stint as an announcer on the Champ Car World Series before being fired by the production company. He then joined Speed Channel; he was one of the anchors of Speed News for a year. Jenkins has also been a contributor to WIBC, Indianapolis sports broadcasts.

In June 2006, Jenkins was released from his contract by Speed Channel; his future broadcasting plans are unknown. According to Jayski's Silly Season Site, in early 2006 Jenkins became the communications director for the Premier Racing Association [1].

In July 2006, he was head announcer of the IMS Radio Network for the United States Grand Prix.

Movie credits

Jenkins also has two movie credits, both from his positions. In order to be realistic, the race announcers in Days of Thunder were the actual ESPN crew, which meant Jenkins was the announcer, as in real-life, and while at Speed Channel in 2005, he was the Speed anchor in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (released August 4, 2006).

His voice was used in the EA Sports NASCAR video game series, from NASCAR 98 to NASCAR 2001.

Jenkins is a cancer survivor and lives in the Indianapolis area with his wife Pam.

NDS and Prick

I missed a very important phone call the other night. T and Chad were trying to recall the rules to a game Chad made up called Prick. The next day T and I brainstormed and put our thoughts together with what T and Chad had recalled the night before. Here's what we've come up with...

Deal out all the cards as evenly as possible to the players.
Cards go as follows:
Number cards = number of drinks
Jacks = 2x the number of the card(s) played
Queens = Kill it and fill it
Kings = 3x the number of the card(s) played
Aces = Reverse the drinks back to the original player
Pairs, Triples, and Quads can be laid together
Jacks and Kings can be laid on any number card(s) and more than one can be played at once.
Play passes to the last player told to drink.
When the first player plays his last card, the remaining players drink their cards.

The best way to show how it's played is with a few examples of gameplay.

Chad lays down two 8's and tells Clint to drink. Clint drinks 16 - 8+8=16.
Clint lays down two 5's and a Jack and tells T to drink. T drinks 20 - (5+5)*2=20.
T lays down a Queen and tells Juddy to drink. Juddy kills remaining beer and gets a new beer. T could NOT play a Jack or King on the Queen.
Juddy lays down a 10, a Jack, and a King and tells Red to drink. Red drinks 60 - 10*2*3=60.
Red lays down four 4's and tells Z to drink. However Z throws an Ace. Red drinks 16 - 4+4+4+4=16.
Z wants revenge and lays down three 7's and tells Red to drink. Red drinks 21 - 7+7+7=21. Suddenly Red is now drunk.

Originally T and I thought red cards meant "give drinks" and black meant "take drinks". The more I thought about it the more I think it went like above. Also since it was brutal to take 20+ drinks routinely, we would do a quick count instead of making people take every drink. So, the person giving the drinks would normally count the drinker down. Of course, at first the counting was slow and as we got drunk the counts sped up. Eventually (usually after two rounds) no one could count and the game broke down.

Out of time for now Sports Fans. Please post additions, deletions, and corrections and let's play next time we all get together.

I should be...

...in this picture, but because of the Catholic religion I'm not.

I Tell You

These People don't even deserve a Sunday for worship. Who in their right mind would give money to keep these real extremists from operating in this country. There is no other group of people who would degrade this country more over the next decade than the U.S. religious right. al-Qaida doesn't hold a candle to the amount of turmoil and hate/fear the 'religious right' has caused (the supposed non-denominational) American over the, say, past 200 years... You think it is the Arabian nations who are controlled by religion.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (CNN) -- A sharp difference of opinion over which issues ought to top the political agenda of Christian conservatives spilled out into the open at this week's meeting of the National Association of Evangelicals.

The group rebuffed complaints from some of the religious right's leading lights about the organization's newfound focus on global warming.

The group, which represents 45,000 churches and more than 60 evangelical denominations, took no action on a letter sent by 25 conservative Christian leaders demanding that the organization restrain its Washington policy director, the Rev. Richard Cizik, from putting forward his views on global warming. (Watch how issues divide evangelical group Video)

"We have observed that Cizik and others are using the global warming controversy to shift the emphasis away from the great moral issues of our time, notably the sanctity of human life, the integrity of marriage and the teaching of sexual abstinence and morality to our children," said the letter, which was signed by prominent religious conservatives such as James Dobson, Don Wildmon, Paul Weyrich and Gary Bauer.

Cizik has been outspoken on the global warming issue, saying in a recent documentary that "to harm this world by environmental degradation is an offense against God."

But Dobson and the other signatories of the letter to the National Association of Evangelicals board said evidence supporting global warming was not conclusive and that the organization "lacks the expertise to settle the controversy."

"The issue should be addressed scientifically and not theologically," they said, calling on the group's board to either rein in Cizik or encourage him to resign.

One of the men who signed the letter, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, said global warming was part of a leftist agenda that threatened evangelical unity.

"We're not going to allow third parties to divide evangelicals, and I think that is what is happening in part with the global warming issue," Perkins said.

However, the association board not only stood behind Cizik, but also further broadened the group's agenda with a statement condemning torture, which charged that in pursuing the war on terror, the United States had crossed "boundaries of what is legally and morally permissible."

But one of the board members, the Rev. Paul de Vries, said, "It ought to be God's agenda, not the Republican Party's agenda, that drives us.

"We're actually tired of being represented by people with a very narrow focus," he said. "We want to have a focus as big as God's focus."

Attack Time...

For those of you who may not know, some kid in North Carolina has been able to use Clint's Xbox Gamertag to play online (Since the place the kid bought C's used Xbox did not erase his data before re-selling it). At first, it was annoying, because Clint would be kicked off whenever the kid signed in; Clint had to re-sign back on to kick him out. Now, today, the kid has removed all of us form Clint's friends list. I found a way to still find out that if the kid is on using Clint's profile. I have already sent him a message, and I want all out there who has set up their xbox live internet acct. (via xbox.com) to go to this website to send this kid a message. You will know the kid is on when you see him playing a xbox1 game (he usually plays halo 2). Send him messages constantly.
