Anyone know who the BTK Killer is? He was a serial killer who wreaked havoc around the Wichita, Kansas, area for almost 20 years. What is so special about him? Well, he killed 10 people. He sent letters to police and local media after the murders started occurring boasting of his knowledge of the crimes and his gloating of not getting caught.
BTK stood for Bind, Torture, Kill. Which is what he did to all his victims. But, why you ask, "Why are you bringing him up?"
He was finally caught by technology. DNA was collected in the 70's that wasn't maximized in evidence until the 2000's. Also, computers were more prevalent. He started writing and sending 'floppy discs' to police (after he was assured by police that 'floppy discs' could not be tracked to a single computer - IDIOT). Once the discs were analyzed, they showed the Windows software "Name" and "Organization". Using that information, the police analyzed DNA from the suspect's daughter which tied BTK to her dad.
Why do I bring this up? The "Organization" was Christ Lutheran Church. And the "Name" was the Deacon of the Church.
Once again.... Christians ruin life!!!!
