Didn't Know Where To Put This...

post. I'm talkin' bout censorship. Recently I went to one of my link sites, and I got this instead of my normal Firefox page not found.

I was able to pull the site I wanted on my cell phone, but not on RoadRunner. How can that be? Then I thought, where did the RoadRunner Search Engine come from? I didn't install it as my default search engine. This site goes to this RoadRunner engine on both of my computers attached to my home network (through RoadRunner). I then noticed on this search site that on the bottom right corner is this 'opt out' link.

once I click on it it says I can ...

once I disabled these settings, I was able to access the web sites I wanted to visit (not only on the one computer I disabled, but the other computer immediately updated). I call this censorship. They are just hoping that the layman will not notice the 'opt out' link at the bottom right and BLOCK web sites. Where are we China? Are our freedoms being reduced even more? What web sites will soon be barred by Corporate America? Where are our freedoms at any more?

The site I was trying to access possesses nothing but LINKS to other web sites. But, you know, RoadRunner Cannot Bar A Pay Site From It's Customers, so they find a back door to infringe on the freedom of the Internet.

I Knew....

it was 'healthy' for you, but it REALLY is healthy! I am gonna get healthy right now.

Rich Didn't Take Long...

to begin the official downfall of Michigan for at least the next few years. Justin Boren, Michigan's starting offensive lineman last season, has decided to transfer from Michigan to, get this, OHIO STATE!!!! That is unprecedented. Never before has a Michigan football player transfered to O.S.U.

What did he say as the reason to transfer: "family values have eroded" under Rich Rodriguez. Boren, a sophomore student, will have to sit out the 2008 season (NCAA Rules) but will play (and start) in 2009. What a coup!!!

What does this mean? How bad does this look for Michigan and Rodriguez? It's one thing to have a player leave because he doesn't fit into the new system (Ryan Mallett), but to leave the team because the 'family' is broken, that is amazing. At least Mallett didn't go to Ohio State. And Boren isn't a bench-rider hiding behind an All-American; he started all 13 games last season. Who leaves a team when they start? NOBODY!

And not just a starter, a true Michigan Man. His dad was coached under Bo Schembechler. He grew up bleeding Maize and Blue. Rich Rodriguez was able to destroy that family in only a few weeks time?

Johnny Damon to the Yanks is tame compared to Boren going to the Bucks. This made the greatest rivalry in sports even better, or bitter.

Blacula

Washington Wizard's head coach Eddie Jordan.

Blacula started out as a joke two years ago when me and T went to Leroy's place to watch the playoff game, and we all noticed that Eddie Jordan looked like a black Dracula, thus Blacula. So last Saturday, during game one of the Cav's / Wizards, T sent me this picture message with the title "Blacula... he wants to suck your blood." Then last night, during game 2 I forwarded the pic to Scooby (who was there for the first dubbing of Blacula). I got a reply from Scooby today who said that he was at the game last night, and loved the pic. In fact, he showed it to everyone around him, and everyone had a great laugh. So now, we're waiting for the Blacula epidemic to start.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

First details of the upcoming Ubisoft flight action game over at IGN. Not sure how similar this will be to Ace Combat 6. I never played it yet, but J Ho can fill in some details. HAWX will support 4 player jump in campaign. So you can go it alone or get help from your wingman of choice. There's also a 16 player online vs mode to try. Check out the video below. I like the tie-in with the Ghost Recon series.
